Francis Beylotte
For CCSD District 7
Proudly Endorsed By:
- Ed Sutton, SC State Senator
- Greg Perry, North Charleston City Council Member
- Friend Grey, Community Leader
Our Endorsement
Charleston DSA proudly endorses Francis Beylotte! Francis is an endorsed cadre DSA member and a qualified expert with decades of professional background ready to tackle our public schools' behavioral health crisis, protect public education, and ensure robust student mental health support. His campaign proudly supports the Workers Deserve More program, and the Elbit out of SC campaign, and builds vital working-class electoral power.
Our Main Targets
- Lowcountry Far-Right Ideologues: Reactionary forces like Moms For Liberty and school board actors who weaponize bigotry, target vulnerable children, and try to dismantle public education.
- FILOT Programs: Corporate tax breaks (such as those for Elbit Systems weapons manufacturing) that strip vital revenue from our public schools.
- TIF Programs: CCSD-authorized tax revenues diverted away from classrooms to fund billionaire Ben Navarro’s Union Pier development.
