On Tuesday July 28th, during our weekly picket outside of Elbit Systems' factory in Ladson, South Carolina, three Elbit Out of SC organizers were unjustly arrested by "off-duty" North Charleston Police Officers.

All three were arrested for the crime of calling attention to Elbit's profiting from genocide in Palestine by supplying bomb bodies and howitzers cannons to Israel. Israel has now also used the same howitzer cannons in its colonialist campaign in Lebanon.

This is a clear case of repression against our campaign and an attempt to target our members but we will not back down. NCPD has targeted our members in the past and made arrests on trumped up charges, but we've won in court every single time! We know that when we stand united and fight back, we win. This time will be no different.

Email North Charleston PD and North Charleston Mayor Burgess to demand they drop the charges against the Ladson 3 and end NCPD's mercenaries-for-hire complicity in Elbit System's genocide profiteering!

My name is {your name} and I heard about what's been happening at the Elbit Systems of America facility located in Ladson on Palmetto Commerce Pkwy.

Billion-dollar corporations like Elbit Systems, who directly profit from genocide in Palestine and war crimes in Lebanon, should not be allowed to hire North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) officers for $60/hour to serve as private security. These police officers have a clear conflict of interest; they cannot serve both the interests of their employer, Elbit Systems, and those of the public. This puts community members at risk and empowers officers to ignore their own rules and policies in the interest of keeping Elbit Systems happy.

In a clear escalation against community members exercising their First Amendment rights, NCPD officers arrested three Elbit Out of SC organizers on bogus and trumped up charges. I'm writing to demand that the charges against Haley, Collin, and Tyler be dropped. They did nothing wrong and it's clear that the arresting officer, Officer G. Kramer (#132), was acting solely in the interest of Elbit Systems to silence the protestors.

Genocide is a crime! Protesting our community's role in facilitating genocide in Palestine is our moral and legal duty! The North Charleston Police Department should have no business protecting companies selling genocide!
